How long does PRP injection for hair loss last?

  • The effects of PRP are not permanent but effects can last up to 18 months in an average with a maximum of 2years as the longest reported effect. However, most may resort to a re-touch of the treatment once a year.

Does PRP work on bald spots?

  • Today, some patients have PRP injection in conjunction with other hair loss treatments, such as medication. Increasing clinical evidence suggests PRP can help patients with hair loss. Most PRP studies report following up with patients for up to six months after their procedure.

Who should not get PRP?
